These girls lived in the apartment building across the street. 1 was Native American and the other had escaped from Cuba with her family.
What am I Reading
After some research, I found that it is a "Newspaper". The couch came with our furnished apartment above a fire station.

A friend at IBM Boulder (I think)
The Hansings and George
Buckling up. This was likely at a small commercial ski slope in Rocky Mountain National Park. It closed down soon after '67.
Andi "Secure" in VW Fastback
Things have changed a bit in child passenger safety.

Had my glove (and thumb) in the brake bar and was just hanging there. My mountaineering classmates weren't aware and I wasn't telling. Left arm finally took enough weight off to extricate myself.
Learning on St Mary's Glacier
Sliding head first on your back down the snow field. How do you stop? We learned the techniques.

We have to Climb That?
And then rappel down. Quite a moutaineering class.
The "Exposure" grew significantly when we got here. That's me with the red day-pack.
Hanging Out Over Boulder
Still stuck - but what a view (not that I noticed).
The Bounder Flatirons
A different look at the Flatirons while on a climb on the 2nd (I think).
Boulder From Above
The red roofs of CU are prominent when look from above Boulder.
The heavily switch-backed Flagstaff Road winds above Boulder. It passes several popular rock climbing challenges and one of the best Colorado restaurants - Flagstaff House.
I climbed this peak in 1967 with 2 IBM friends. With any luck I'll find some more apropos photos as we go through the billions that are still remaining.

Wouldn't drink it, but there it was on top of the Maiden. This climb was next to Devil's Thumb and the Matron - 3 rock spikes just south of Boulder.
